Renders & Finishes
Renders & Finishes
Structherm's quality renders and finishes are suitable for contemporary new build or refurbishmnet projects. Many of the renders and finishes are also an integral feature of our External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems, and are also available as a render only option for new build applications. Continuous research and development programmes ensure that the performance of each product consistently meets the most demanding conditions likely to be encountered with a particular project.
Renders
A render is a basecoat upon which a variety of other finishes or finishing coats may be applied. There are five types of rendered basecoat available:
1. Standard
2. Fibre reinforced
3. Polymer modified
4. Lightweight
5. Bonding
All basecoats are manufactured from natural limestone and are supplied dry in 25 kg bags.
Finishes
Structherm’s finishes are grouped into Contemporary and Traditional ranges.
Contemporary (Acrylic)
Smooth and textured Acrylic finishes offer excellent durability, water vapour permeability and water repellence. They also offer superb protection against UV and are crack resistant.
The table below shows our range of ClassicPro and VantagePro finishes along with how they are applied. Each finish is available in any of our 280 standard colours.

The table below shows our range of ClassicPro and VantagePro finishes which provide excellent adhesion onto every kind of mineral substrate. The range is also particularly resistant to mould and fungi attack due to the inorganic pigments contained within the product. Each finish is available in any of our 280 standard colours.

Traditional (Dash Receiver & Aggregate)
Structherm’s range of Dash Receiver and Aggregate provides a decorative, durable and cost effective finish applied in two stages. The final aesthetic appearance depends on the combination of coloured dash receiver and aggregate chosen.
Dash Receiver
Dash receiver is a specially formulated polymer modified through colour render that provides excellent adhesion and impact resistance. Click here to view our standard colour range. The dash receivers should be hand applied onto an appropriate basecoat using a hawk and trowel to a thickness of 6-8 mm.
Dash Aggregates (Iron Free)
Our high quality decorative dash aggregates allow you to not only create classic rendered pebble dashed walls, but also some very unique styles with our wide range of colours available. Click here to view our standard colour range. The dash aggregate is thrown onto the surface of the dash receiver, whilst still wet, in an upward motion using a hand scoop. For best results an even distribution of aggregate is necessary and any missed areas should be rectified immediately as it can not be touched up next day.
